Frequently Asked Questions

Talk to SupportHealthcare professional answering questions during a telehealth consultation
What conditions can virtual urgent care help with?+

Virtual urgent care can help evaluate many common, non-emergency concerns, including cold and flu symptoms, sinus issues, sore throat, allergies, mild skin concerns, urinary symptoms, digestive concerns, and minor injuries. Your provider will determine whether virtual care is appropriate for your situation.

Is virtual urgent care appropriate for emergencies?+

No. Virtual urgent care is not a replacement for emergency services. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, signs of stroke, heavy bleeding, a severe injury, or any potentially life-threatening condition.

Can children use virtual urgent care?+

Our providers can evaluate many non-emergency concerns for children, depending on the child’s age, symptoms, location, and applicable clinical requirements. A parent or legal guardian should be present for the visit.

How does a virtual urgent care visit work?+

Choose the urgent care service, complete a secure health intake, and meet with a licensed provider virtually. After evaluating your symptoms, the provider will explain your care plan and any recommended next steps.

Can a provider prescribe medication?+

When clinically appropriate and permitted, a provider may send a prescription to your preferred pharmacy. Prescribing decisions are based on your evaluation, medical history, and applicable regulations.

What if I need testing or in-person treatment?+

If your concern requires laboratory testing, imaging, a physical examination, or a higher level of care, your provider will explain the appropriate next step and recommend in-person evaluation when necessary.

How is my health information protected?+

Pure Health Fx uses secure systems and privacy safeguards to protect your personal health information during intake, communication, and virtual visits.

What do I need for my appointment?+

You will need a phone, tablet, or computer with a reliable internet connection. Keep your photo ID, medication and allergy information, relevant health history, and preferred pharmacy details available.

Do you accept insurance?+

Yes, we accept insurance.
